Initial consultation

We started because nobody could help us.

That experience became a practical approach. How it developed explains the way we work today.

How it began

Three steps towards our own solution.

  1. A workshop in Heidelberg

At an event attended by several building services practices, a firm with the same service profile showed what it had already automated: gathering information, producing reports and reviewing documents. This was everyday work, not a pilot. A competitor was spending fewer hours and could price its work accordingly.

  2. Three consultants, three refusals

Back in Kulmbach, we approached external providers. They could explain what a language model was. We had to explain what a HOAI work stage was. We would ultimately have done the work of translating everyday engineering requirements into technology, and paid for the privilege.

  3. So we did it ourselves

We hired a data scientist and started in-house: our projects, documents, server and deadlines. We encountered all the usual pitfalls: initial ambitions that were too large, files that were less organised than expected, and results that looked convincing but were wrong. Those lessons now form the basis of our services.

"The providers did not understand our processes and could not put themselves in our position."
Rainer Herold, Managing Director of MSR-Innovations

Why we share what we learnt

Thousands of engineering practices work with the same processes. For consultancies, the sector is often too small and specialised to understand in depth. For us, it is everyday work. We are an engineering practice that has learnt AI, with first-hand knowledge of your profession.

How we work

Four principles you can judge us by.

We say no when it is not suitable

If your files need organising first, or a process presents more risk than benefit, we will tell you, even if it means losing an order. A failed project costs us more than a project we decline.

A person approves the result

Assistants produce drafts, not approved documents. Review and responsibility remain with your specialists. Time is saved by giving people a starting point while keeping their professional review.

No new platform

We work with your existing project files. No data migration, system change or change to the way you work. What you need is an organised filing system.

Your data remains yours

Your content is not used to train models. A data processing agreement and deletion policy are included as standard. If you terminate the arrangement, we hand over the complete configuration and documentation.

Team

The people behind our work.

A small team combining engineering and data science: the combination we could not find among external providers.

And the wider team

SysTec.AI is backed by the full MSR-Innovations engineering team, specialising in building automation, electrical engineering and energy. Their expertise is why our assistants use the right technical vocabulary.

Our origins

MSR-Innovations GmbH, Kulmbach

An engineering practice for building automation, hydrogen and sector coupling, working across all HOAI work stages. Our first testing ground.

Everything we offer was used there first. When we say an assistant can connect to an established folder structure, it is because it worked in our own practice.

Our solutions start where we design: in the everyday work of MSR-Innovations.

What about the competitive conflict?

MSR may compete with you in some areas. We keep your data strictly separate, and our confidentiality agreement explicitly applies in relation to MSR as well. On request, we can agree exclusivity for your region.
