The work involved.
Every bid involves two tasks: assessing whether the tender is worth pursuing, then preparing the submission. Both take hours that cannot be billed, often when ongoing projects are already demanding attention. For large public tenders, for example, assistance can reduce the total time for review and preparation from 40 to 10 hours. Those 10 hours cover the entire task, including professional review.
What you receive
- A two-page assessment with a clear recommendation on whether to bid
- Key details at a glance: procurement procedure, deadlines, scope and estimated fee value
- A comparison with your references, showing which suitability criteria you meet
- If you bid: draft submission documents with project descriptions, relevant references, the proposed team and methodology text in your template
- A checklist of required evidence and forms, with deadlines and outstanding items
- A source reference for every statement, including the document and page number
- A sample assessment document below
The recommendation and bid remain drafts. Your management decides whether to bid and what to submit. The assistant approves and sends nothing.
